All drivers must have held a valid licence for more than 2 years that entitles them to drive a UK Category B Vehicle up to 3500kg GMW.
Age limits: for insurance are 25 to 75 years.

Once you have set-up your Tripz.uk Customer Account Page and booked your motorhome, a booking confirmation email will be sent out to you.
Settlement of the remaining balance is due six weeks prior to your motorhome pick-up date.
Tripz.uk reserves the right to cancel the booking if payment is not received six weeks prior to your motorhome pick-up date.
For bookings (less than six weeks before your pick-up date) the full rental price is payable on booking.
Motorhomes will not be released without full payment being completed.
Motorhome collection: standard collection time is 15:00.
Motorhome return: standard return time is 10:00.

Yes, we have car parking facilities at our yard and we’re happy for you to leave your car in our car park, at your own risk.
All Tripz.uk customers can leave their vehicles at their own risk for the duration of their motorhome hire, if:

Yes, our motorhomes come with bike racks fitted at no extra cost.
The racks on both our 4 and 6 berth motorhomes carry up to 4 bikes, max weight 60kg
Yes, we have pet friendly motorhomes for hire. If you are thinking about bringing your furry friend with you, we have a pet policy.
As we know how important it is to you that we allow furry friends into our motorhomes, that’s why we do!
We want you to enjoy adventures together, providing of course you and your pet abide by our house rules outlined here and, in our terms and conditions, to which you must agree.
We understand that sometimes things happen that are out of our control, but you need to make us aware of any late pick-ups or drop-offs as it will impact costs, your insurance may be invalid, and your late return could affect other people’s motorhome bookings.
There is a late fee charge of £100.00 per hour should the motorhome be returned after the agreed time as stated on the hire agreement.
A ‘no show’ is deemed as the customer not presenting themselves on the first day of the hire period to collect their motorhome and not communicating to Tripz.uk prior to this date that they will be collecting the motorhome on an alternative date/time within the booked hire period.
Should the hire be deemed a no show, the motorhome booking will be automatically cancelled at close of business that day and the motorhome will be released for re-hire to another party.
No refunds whatsoever will be due Tripz.uk cannot postpone or transfer money from one hire to another.
Tripz.uk reserves the right to amend our cancellation policy for certain events.
COVID-19 Cancellation Policy
Valid for all bookings made from 1st July 2021. A no quibble refund on your booking or postponement less a £25.00 admin fee.
This COVID Policy applies under the following UK government guidance:
Motorhome hire and other charges, you will pay Tripz.uk:
All hire charges.
The security deposit.
Administration fee of £25.00 per amendment of a confirmed booking or per penalty charge notice received.
The nominated valeting fee and /or upholstery cleaning fee if the motorhome is not returned with the interior in a clean condition.
The nominated additional fee of £150.00 if the toilet and wastewater tank are not emptied prior to the return of the motorhome.
Excess mileage over 200 miles per day at 50p per mile.
The nominated refilling fee should the fuel tank not be returned completely full
Charges:
¾ to full = £85.00
½ to ¾ full = £100.00
¼ to ½ full = £135.00
empty to ¼ full = £175.00
The late fee of £100.00 per hour should the motorhome be returned after the agreed time as stated on the hire agreement.
The nominated cancellation fee as per the cancellation policy in the event of cancellation of your hire agreement prior to acceptance or pick-up of the motorhome.
The cost of any damage to the motorhome or third-party property, subject to the insurance. Or, The insurance excess should there be damage involving third party property or the theft of the motorhome. This applies in respect of each claim, not hire.
All Government fees and duties etc.
All parking fines, other fines or penalties and associated administration costs incurred in relation to the motorhome during the hire period.
Any other fees or charges payable by you pursuant to the hire agreement. This includes any costs incurred by Tripz.uk as a result of any breach by you of the terms of our Agreement.
Demurrage: the nightly rental rate for the period the motorhome is off fleet, e.g. for accident repairs.
Any additional costs over and above the security deposit value should damages exceed the security deposit value.
The cost to recover a motorhome.
In the case of gross negligence Tripz.uk reserves the right to recover full costs in order to return the motorhome to the state in which it was handed over.
All prices quoted in the motorhome hire agreement are gross prices.
*Insurance loading. In some cases, Tripz.uk will incur additional charges if the driver to be insured has a traffic conviction, more than 1 insurance claim or is in an occupation which is deemed high risk. These charges will be passed onto the Customer.
**Tripz.uk will supply full breakdown cover to cover any mechanical faults to the base chassis of the motorhome. Any call out charges necessitated by the client through operator error, e.g., a flat Vehicle battery, wrong or insufficient fuel, keys locked in a motorhome etc, will be the responsibility of the client.
Additional motorhome driver: £10.00 per person, per night, up to a maximum of 2 additional drivers per hire with clean driving licences.
You can have no more than 6 points or fixed penalty notices on your license (UK licences only):

Motorhome handover generally takes around 45 minutes but we suggest you allow 1 hour for pick-up and drop-off.
Yes, but terms and conditions apply.
After you have checked we have dates available that you want, to hire a motorhome from us, you will be asked to set-up an account to make your motorhome booking with us.
The door opening is 500mm wide and the door itself folds back past 90 degrees.
The narrowest part of the cabin is 470mm wide and the widest point is 860mm wide.

Our 6 berth Swift Edge 486 has 3 double beds. One of the beds is fixed over the cab.
Over Cab Bed – 190 x 134 cm / 6’3″ x 4’5″
Front Double Bed – 215 x 180/121 cm / 7’1″ x 5’11″/4’0″

Our 4 berth Swift Edge 464 motorhome has 2 double beds. One of the beds is a fixed bed.

Yes you can squeeze a travel cot in to both our motorhomes.
The maximum size that will fit in the 4 berth is 74cm wide x 100cm long.
For the 6 berth 74cm wide fits tightly and the maximum length is 130cm long.
On both motorhomes you will use a double bed space to accommodate a travel cot.
None of our motorhomes have Isofix bars on the travelling seats. If a car seat is required you will have to bring along one that is fitted using the seatbelt.
We recommend you fill the fuel tank at Sovereign Service Station, about 2 miles from our depot. It has easy access and is the most suitable in the area for larger vehicle.
